# About this API

## Purpose

This API is specifically designed for customers that want more automation and control about how and what benefits are applied to their employees and companies.

We are also partnering with [Kombo](https://kombo.dev) to allow for easier automation and sync of HRIS data without the need of implementing against our public API.

## Scope

The scope is currently limited to:

* Updating employee data from your HRIS system to become1
* Granting and revoking of benefits budget & access
